Montauk Daisies or Nippon Daisies (Nipponanthemum nipponicum)

Montauk Daisies or Nippon Daisies (Nipponanthemum nipponicum) are wonderful late-season blooming perennials that you can find in Zones 5 to 9. They love full sun and form perfect mounds (as long as they get enough sunlight), have succulent like leaves and they get covered with blooms in the fall. They take a long time to bloom and really hold out into the fall in northerly climates. But once they pop they can bloom for a month or more. Bees love them and they make a great border plant or specimen plant and do a great job surrounding mailbox posts.
